This listing is a Steam key for Wingspan, the digital adaptation of the board game, developed by Monster Couch. The code is redeemed on your own Steam account, after which the game appears in your library and can be downloaded. You play a bird enthusiast who builds a network of wildlife reserves, and the pace is calm and thoughtful rather than hectic.
What to expect
- A card-driven, engine-building game in which each bird you add makes your reserve better at laying eggs, drawing cards or gathering food.
- A large roster of different birds, many with abilities inspired by real behaviour: hawks hunt, pelicans fish and geese form flocks.
- Animated birds accompanied by recordings of their real calls.
- Solo play or matches for up to five players, with several ways to score through birds, bonus cards and end-of-round goals.
Who is it for?
Players who prefer a relaxed strategic challenge to fast action: planning, optimising combinations and watching a reserve grow turn after turn. Its PEGI 3 rating makes it a gentle option for all ages, and the key is region free, so it can be activated from any country.
