Far Cry 5 is an open-world shooter from Ubisoft, this time set in the United States, in the fictional Hope County, Montana. An apocalyptic cult led by Joseph Seed has taken control of the region; you play a sheriff's deputy stranded after an arrest that goes wrong. The game abandons the watchtowers and lets the player discover the map through exploration and encounters.
What awaits you
- Three self-contained regions — each held by a cult lieutenant, liberatable in the order of your choice.
- Fighters to recruit — human and animal allies, including a tracker dog, a cougar and a plane pilot, each with their speciality.
- Outposts and sabotage — camps to retake, silos to destroy and convoys to intercept.
- Ground and air vehicles — pickups, quads, boats and combat planes, with full aerial dogfights.
- Full co-op — the whole campaign can be played with two players online.
- Arcade map editor — levels created by players, playable solo, co-op or competitively.
