SUPERHOT VR is a first-person action game built from the ground up for virtual reality and hand-tracking controllers. It is sold as a Steam key, which you redeem on your own Steam account before installing the game from your library. The central idea is simple and unusual: the world moves forward only when you move, so every step, reach and dodge becomes a decision.
What to expect
- Time on your terms: stand still and the action almost freezes, giving you a moment to read the room before you act.
- No safety net: health does not regenerate and ammunition is not left lying around, so you stay outnumbered and outgunned.
- Improvised fighting: pick weapons up from fallen enemies, then shoot, slice or weave between bullets drifting slowly past you.
- Extra challenges: modes such as headshot-only, no shooting at all, faster opponents with less reaction time, and score runs in both bullet-time and real time.
Who is it for?
Owners of a compatible VR headset who like short, tense scenarios that mix puzzle-solving with shooting. Make sure you have enough free space around you to move safely. The game is rated PEGI 12.
