Debtors' Club is a narrative adventure with strategy and point-and-click elements, made by mecagames and published by indie.io in 2024. You work for city hall, and your task is to collect what local businesses owe. This is a Steam key: it arrives by e-mail and is redeemed on your own Steam account.
What to expect
- A team of municipal employees with different strengths, whom you assign to the cases of your choice.
- Phone conversations with debtors, where you decide whether to persuade, pressure or dig into their secrets.
- A roguelite-style story that mixes written scenes with generated dialogue, so each playthrough can unfold differently.
- Tough calls between kindness and getting results at any cost, with consequences for the city and its inhabitants.
- Short minigames and tasks, all wrapped in a cartoon-like look.
Who is it for?
Players who enjoy narrative games, like to think through their decisions and want to manage a small team in a morally grey job. The pace is relaxed: the focus is on choices and conversations rather than reflexes. Expect a thoughtful pace, branching paths and plenty of reasons to replay with different choices.
