Hunt: Showdown 1896 is a first-person horror shooter set in the swamps of Louisiana, where monstrous creatures roam and bounty hunters compete for rewards. It comes as a Steam key, which you redeem on your own Steam account before downloading the game from your library. Matches combine player-versus-player tension with threats controlled by the game.
What to expect
- Risk and reward: up to five teams of two set out after the same kind of target, and whoever takes one down becomes a marked duo for everyone left on the map.
- A lasting bloodline: when a hunter falls, experience passes to your bloodline and can be used to equip new recruits.
- Dark Sight: a supernatural ability that reveals hidden traces and monsters, but also exposes players carrying a bounty.
- Tailored loadouts: a wide choice of weapons and gear, so you can match your equipment to your preferred style.
- Solo or as a pair: decide whether to rely on a partner or face the gloom alone.
