Resident Evil Village, the eighth numbered instalment in Capcom's series, picks up the story of Ethan Winters a few years after the events of Resident Evil 7. Setting out in search of his abducted daughter, he ends up in an Eastern European village cut off by the snow, ruled by four lords with monstrous powers and by the castle of the Dimitrescu family. The game plays in first-person view and alternates between passages of pure horror, open exploration of the village and more frantic action sequences.
What awaits you

- Four distinct domains — castle, haunted house, factory and reservoir, each with its own atmosphere and its own pace.
- The Duke, travelling merchant — a recurring vendor from whom you can upgrade your weapons, buy resources and cook dishes with permanent effects.
