NBA 2K25 is the basketball simulation developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K. It takes on the official teams, players, kits and arenas of the NBA and WNBA, with a game engine that emphasises pace, positioning and the quality of timing rather than arcade play.
What awaits you
- Timing-based shooting system — shot meter, influence of defensive coverage and player tendencies, with several assistance settings.
- Dribbling and defence — right-stick chains, changes of pace and defence based on body positioning rather than automatic steals.
- MyCAREER — create your player, choose your archetype, progress over the seasons in an open neighbourhood where you meet other players.
- MyTEAM — collect player cards to build a team and enter it into single-player and competitive modes.
- MyNBA and Eras — manage a franchise, with the option to start at different periods of the league's history.
- Historic teams and WNBA — legendary rosters and the women's league available.
