ESET Internet Security is ESET's mid-range security suite, for 1 PC for 1 year. It sits between NOD32 Antivirus, which is limited to threat detection and Smart Security Premium, which adds a password manager and encryption. Internet Security brings the firewall, anti-spam, parental control, banking protection and home network inspection — enough to cover the needs of a single family or business machine.
What the protection includes
- ESET antivirus engine — permanent scanning of files, mail and web traffic, renowned for its discretion on modest machines.
- Personal firewall — controls each application that tries to access the network and adapts its rules to the type of connection.
- Anti-spam — filters junk mail and e-mail scam attempts.
- Parental control — restricts the categories of accessible sites and limits time spent in front of the screen.
- Payment protection — opens banking sites in an environment isolated from the rest of the system.
- Exploit blocking — prevents the exploitation of vulnerabilities in your browsers and document readers.
Compatibility
Windows 11, 10, 8.1 and 7 (SP1), 32 and 64-bit. Light configuration: 1 GB of RAM and about 1 GB of disk space. Internet connection required for activation and definition updates.
