What to expect
- Turn-based squad battles with a targeting system that lets you plan each shot and strike carefully.
- A personalised team of Grey Knights, with four classes, psychic abilities, equipment and cosmetic options.
- A base of operations to upgrade, with new facilities and research between missions on several worlds.
- Enemies and environments that change as the Bloom spreads, including mutated Death Guard forces.
- Destructible scenery you can use to your advantage, and a story written by Aaron Dembski-Bowden.
Who is it for?
Adults who like tactical, methodical combat and enjoy the grim universe of Warhammer 40,000. The game is violent, with graphic finishing moves, so it is not aimed at younger players. Your decisions affect which planets resist, which gives each campaign its own course. Players who prefer fast reflex-based action may find the measured, planning-focused pace less to their taste.
