Crusader Kings III is a grand strategy game developed by Paradox Development Studio. In it you do not lead an abstract country but a dynasty: a count, a duke, a king or an emperor, with their character, their family, their vassals and their rivals. When your character dies, you resume the game in the shoes of their heir and the real difficulty often lies in getting your bloodline to survive the division of the lands.
What awaits you
- Immense medieval map — from Iceland to India, over several centuries, with hundreds of playable titles from the minor count to the basileus.
- Living characters — each ruler has traits, skills, ambitions, friendships and hatreds that weigh on their decisions.
- Intrigue and plots — assassinations, fabricating claims, seduction, kidnappings: underground diplomacy is a whole facet of the game.
- War and vassalage — raising armies from your vassals, managing supply and sieges, quelling revolts.
- Religion and culture — creating your own faith, reforming your culture, adopting innovations that change the playstyle.
