This is a Steam key for Suzerain, a text-driven adventure and role-playing game developed by Torpor Games, published by Fellow Traveller and released in 2020. The key is activated on your own Steam account, and the game then joins your library.
What to expect
- The role of Anton Rayne, a young and charismatic man who becomes president of Sordland in 1954, as the country emerges from a long dictatorship and a bloody civil war.
- Long, branching conversations with your cabinet, allies, friends and family, in which your words shape alliances and rivalries.
- Decisions on security, the economy and diplomacy, set against a shaky recession and neighbouring powers watching closely.
- News and reports to follow, since the situation of the country at the end of your four-year term depends on the path you choose.
Who is it for?
Readers and strategy lovers who enjoy political fiction, moral dilemmas and the weight of consequences will feel at home. It is a game of dialogue and judgement rather than action, best enjoyed by players who like taking their time to weigh every option before answering.
