This is a Steam key for Scythe, a strategy game developed by The Knights of Unity and published by Asmodee Digital. It is the digital adaptation of a board game. The key is activated on your own Steam account, and the game is then downloaded through the Steam client. The game rewards careful planning, since the order in which you develop your economy and your forces shapes every match, even when you replay the same faction.
What to expect
- An alternate 1920s Europe, years after a great war, where giant mechs roam snowy landscapes.
- Five factions to lead, each starting with different resources, a different location and a secret objective.
- Gameplay centred on exploring, expanding and building up an economic engine, with combat decided by choices rather than luck.
- Specialities and customisable player mats that let you shape your strategy and vary each game.
- Matches against two levels of artificial opponents or against friends on the same device, with retro-futuristic artwork.
Who is it for?
Fans of board games and thoughtful strategy who like to plan several turns ahead and enjoy having almost full control over the outcome. Your key is sent by e-mail within 24 hours of your order.
