Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Rockstar Games. You play Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van der Linde gang, in 1899, as the American frontier closes in and outlaws are running out of room. It works as a western and as a portrait of a world coming to an end, with a long single-player story and an attention to detail that has become its trademark.
What awaits you
- A dense open world: plains, snowy mountains, swamps and towns, with full wildlife, changing weather and frequent random encounters.
- Camp life: resupply the gang's camp, talk with its members, share in the chores and watch relationships change.
- Hunting, fishing and crafting: the quality of a hide matters, animals react to wind and noise, and gear is made from what you bring back.
- Combat and Dead Eye: cover-based gunfights, slow motion to mark several targets, and weapons that need cleaning and upkeep.
- Honour: your choices, how you treat strangers and your crimes affect Arthur's reputation and certain scenes.
- Red Dead Online: the multiplayer mode comes with the game and offers its own character and activities.
