Red Dead Redemption 2 is an open-world action-adventure game developed by Rockstar Games. You play Arthur Morgan, a member of the Van der Linde gang, in 1899, at a time when the American West is closing in and outlaws no longer really have a place. The game is as much a western as it is a chronicle of the end of a world, with a very long single-player campaign and an attention to detail that has become its hallmark.
What awaits you
- A dense open world — plains, snowy mountains, swamps and towns, with complete wildlife, changing weather and constant random encounters.
- Camp life — resupply the gang's camp, chat with its members, take part in chores and watch relationships evolve.
- Hunting, fishing and crafting — the quality of the hides matters, animals react to wind and noise, and gear is crafted from what you bring back.
- Combat and Dead Eye — gunfights in cover with slow-motion to mark several targets, weapons to maintain and clean.
- Honour — your choices, your treatment of strangers and your crimes affect Arthur's reputation and certain scenes.
- Red Dead Online — the multiplayer component, accessible with the game, offers its own character and its own activities.
