Razer Surround 7.1 – CD Key

Razer Surround 7.1 is an audio processing software that simulates 7.1-channel surround sound on an ordinary stereo headset, without any additional hardware. The benefit is very concrete in shooters or stealth games: better locating where a footstep, a shot or a vehicle is coming from, whereas plain stereo output only distinguishes left and right. The software works with any headset, whatever its brand.

What Razer Surround 7.1 offers

• 7.1 virtual surround — sound spread across a simulated sound space for better localisation of sources.
• Personal calibration — a wizard has you position the sound sources by ear in order to adapt the output to your morphology and your headset.
• Volume normalisation — reduces the gap between very loud passages and quiet sounds.
• Dialogue clarity — brings voices to the fore relative to effects and music.
• Microphone noise reduction — attenuates the background noise picked up by your microphone during voice conversations.
• Equaliser and presets — profiles geared towards gaming, music or film, adjustable manually.

Compatibility

Windows 11, 10, 8.1 and 7. The software installs as a virtual audio device and is used with a free Razer ID account. It acts on the system's audio output, and therefore on all games and applications that use it.

Activation

Your activation key is sent by e-mail within 24 hours maximum. Create or log in to your Razer account, install the software, open the activation section then enter the code you received. The full version, with calibration and advanced settings, is then unlocked.
