Doom Eternal is the first-person shooter by id Software, a direct sequel to Doom (2016). Earth has been invaded by demons and the Doom Slayer works his way up Hell's chain of command. The game imposes an extreme pace: ammunition, health and armour are almost never picked up from the ground any more, they are torn from enemies with the chainsaw, glory kills and the flamethrower. Standing still means dying.
What awaits you
- Combat in constant motion — double jump, air dash, bars to grab onto: the arenas are as much courses as they are shooting galleries.
- Resource management mid-combat — chainsaw for ammunition, glory kill for health, flamethrower for armour.
- Demon weak points — each enemy has a precise weakness to aim at in order to neutralise it quickly.
- Platforming and exploration — secret passages, cassettes, figurines and challenges hidden in every level.
What this edition includes
- The complete game Doom Eternal.
- The Year One Pass: the campaigns The Ancient Gods — Part 1 and Part 2, which extend the story after the end of the base game.
- The digital bonuses of the Deluxe edition, including a demon skin and a master pack.
