Microsoft Visio 2024 Standard – Key tied to Microsoft account (Bind Key)

Microsoft Visio 2024 Standard is Microsoft's diagramming application, sold as a one-time purchase for 1 PC. The licence is a Bind Key: it becomes attached to the Microsoft account you use at activation and then shows up under Services & subscriptions for that account.

What you can draw

• Organisation charts: the structure of a company or department, with assisted generation.
• Flowcharts and process maps: steps, decisions and flows for documenting an internal procedure.
• Floor and layout plans: rooms and furniture positioned to scale.
• Simple network diagrams: workstations, servers, printers and the links between them.
• Timelines: visual project timelines and calendars.
• Smart connectors and stencils: links follow shapes when you move them, and symbol libraries cover common needs.

Standard compared with Professional

Standard does not include database diagrams, advanced models (BPMN, full UML, engineering) or data linking to Excel, SQL Server or SharePoint. Those belong to the Professional edition. For documenting an organisation or a process, Standard is sufficient.

About the account-tied key

The attachment is irreversible: the key cannot later be moved to a different Microsoft account, so choose the account carefully before activating. In return, you can download and reinstall Visio after a reformat or a change of computer just by signing in with that account.

System requirements

• Windows 10 or Windows 11 (Visio is not available for macOS)
• 1.6 GHz dual-core processor and 4 GB of RAM
• 4 GB of available disk space
• A Microsoft account and an internet connection

Activation and delivery

Sign in on Microsoft's Office setup page with the account you want to use, enter the key, then download and install Visio. Odin Key sends the key by e-mail within 24 hours of payment, together with the activation steps, and an official invoice is included. Support in English by e-mail and live chat.
