Microsoft Office 2016 Home and Business for Mac – Lifetime Licence (1 Mac)

Microsoft Office 2016 Home and Business for Mac is the macOS edition of Microsoft's office suite, sold as a one-off purchase for 1 Mac. It covers the four applications most people use day to day, with interfaces built for macOS, including the native menu bar, trackpad support and full-screen mode.

Applications in the suite

• Word for Mac for documents, with a navigation pane, review and comments, and templates.
• Excel for Mac for spreadsheets, with pivot tables, recommended charts and the same formulas as the Windows version.
• PowerPoint for Mac for presentations, with Presenter view, animations and transitions.
• Outlook for Mac for e-mail, calendar and contacts, with Exchange, IMAP and POP support.

What is not included

This edition has neither Access nor Publisher. Those two programs do not exist for macOS in any version of the suite. If you need an Access database, you will have to use a Windows PC or a virtual machine.

Check compatibility first

Office 2016 for Mac is no longer supported, and compatibility with the most recent macOS releases is not guaranteed, because Apple has retired several technologies this generation relies on. Look at your macOS version before ordering. This licence suits a Mac running an older macOS that you do not plan to update.

Good to know before you order

• An older macOS version compatible with Office 2016 (check yours before buying)
• Intel processor
• 4 GB of RAM and 6 GB of disk space
• Screen resolution of at least 1280 x 800
• Internet connection for activation

Install Office for Mac, open Word, choose activation with a product key and enter the code you received. The licence is tied to that Mac.

Odin Key sends the key by e-mail within 24 hours of payment, together with the activation steps, and an official invoice is included. Support in English by e-mail and live chat.
