This listing is for Microsoft Office 2016 Professional Plus with a phone-activation key for 1 PC. It is a one-off purchase of the complete desktop suite, and the key is validated through a call to Microsoft's activation centre instead of online. That extra step is the only real compromise.
How the call works
Once Office is installed, the activation wizard offers a phone option. It displays an Installation ID of nine blocks of digits. Call the number Microsoft provides, read or key in the digits to the automated service, and enter the Confirmation ID you are given back. Plan on roughly ten minutes. It takes longer than activating online and calls for a little patience.
Included applications
- Word 2016 for documents, templates, mail merge and tracked changes.
- Excel 2016 for spreadsheets, pivot tables, Power Query and the newer statistical chart types.
- PowerPoint 2016 for presentations, with Morph transition and Presenter view.
- Outlook 2016 for e-mail, shared calendars, contacts and tasks.
- Access 2016 for building and using relational databases.

Who it suits
