Hearts of Iron IV, developed by Paradox Development Studio, is a grand strategy game devoted to the Second World War. You take charge of a nation, great power or small country, from 1936 or 1939 and you handle everything: political orientation via a national decision tree, industry and the conversion of factories, military research, diplomacy, alliances and of course the conduct of operations on a world map in accelerated real time, which you can pause at will.
What awaits you
- War economy — civilian and military factories, production chains, strategic resources and international trade.
- National tree — a series of political and historical decisions specific to each country, which also allows alternative trajectories.
- Unit design — divisions to compose yourself, with combat width, support and equipment to adjust.
- Land, naval and air warfare — battle plans traced on the map, air superiority to win and convoys to protect or sink.
