Blasphemous – Steam Key

Blasphemous is a 2D action-platform game developed by the Spanish studio The Game Kitchen, halfway between the metroidvania and the demanding action game. You play the Penitent One, the last survivor of a religious order, who travels across the land of Cvstodia struck by a supernatural scourge called the Miracle. The universe draws directly on the iconography of Spanish baroque Catholicism: processions, penitence, relics and torments, rendered in remarkably precise pixel art.

What awaits you

• Demanding sword combat — parries, dodges and executions, with enemies that punish rushed attacks.
• Metroidvania exploration — an interconnected map, shortcuts to open and abilities that unlock new zones.
• Memorable bosses — grotesque and monumental figures, each with phases to decipher.
• Relics and rosary beads — items to equip to withstand poisons, falls or the curses of certain zones.
• Punishing platforming — spikes, moving platforms and pixel-perfect jumps in the late zones.
• Side quests — characters to find, items to bring back and alternative endings to unlock.
