This is a Steam key to redeem on your own Steam account. Biomutant, made by Experiment 101 and published by THQ Nordic, is a PEGI 12 action RPG set in a post-apocalyptic world where the inhabitants are talking animals. The planet is fading and rival tribes are at war, and it falls to you to decide how the story ends.
What to expect
- A free-roaming open world to explore, with hazards waiting around many corners.
- Fast third-person combat with a martial-arts flavour.
- A creature whose abilities depend on its genetic code, which you can shape to your liking.
- Crafting of weapons and gear to prepare for each journey.
- A tale blending fantasy and science fiction, with a path of light or a path of darkness to follow.
Who is it for?
Players aged 12 and over who like exploring at their own pace, tinkering with their character and mixing melee action with discovery, all with a touch of humour. It suits solo adventurers looking for an offbeat setting with plenty of room for customisation. The gene-based character system and the crafting options leave plenty of room to experiment, so two characters can end up playing quite differently from one another, depending on the choices made along the way.
