Age of Wonders 4 is a fantasy strategy game that combines empire management with turn-based tactical battles. This is a Steam key: you activate it on your own Steam account and download the game from there. You lead a faction across a magical realm, expanding your territory turn after turn, in a world where powerful wizard kings rule as gods.
What to expect
- A faction you assemble yourself, by choosing body forms, social traits and arcane powers.
- Tomes of Magic that transform your people over time, even changing their appearance.
- Turn-based battles on maps shaped by your choices, from small skirmishes to large sieges.
- An event system that adds story moments, so each campaign leaves a different trace.
- Rulers who ascend to a pantheon and can return in later games as rivals or allies.
Who is it for?
Players aged 16 and over who enjoy deep strategy with a role-playing flavour, and who like replaying the same genre with a different faction each time. Tinkerers will also appreciate the game's openness to modding. Each new game is a fresh chance to try another approach, whether you prefer careful expansion, bold conquest or a focus on magical research.
