Microsoft Office 2021 Home and Business for Mac – Lifetime Licence (1 Mac)

Microsoft Office 2021 Home and Business for Mac is the latest macOS release of the suite, sold as a one-time purchase for 1 Mac. It runs natively on Apple Silicon chips (M1, M2 and later) as well as on Intel Macs, which brings quicker start-up and better battery life than earlier generations.

Applications included

• Word for Mac: word processing, Focus mode, review tools, dictation and dark mode support.
• Excel for Mac: spreadsheets with the dynamic functions FILTER, SORT, UNIQUE and LET, plus XLOOKUP.
• PowerPoint for Mac: slide show recording with narration, Morph transition and automatic subtitles.
• Outlook for Mac: redesigned mail and calendar, with Exchange, IMAP and POP accounts.

What is not included

No Mac version of Office has Access or Publisher; those two programs exist only on Windows. This edition also does not include Microsoft 365 subscription services: OneDrive storage remains at the free tier, and features released after 2021 are not added.

What is new in this version

The interface follows the design of macOS Big Sur and later. Excel gains dynamic array functions, PowerPoint has new templates, large files perform better, and the system dark mode is fully supported. The move to native Apple Silicon is the change you will notice most day to day.

System requirements

• macOS: one of the three most recent major versions
• Intel or Apple Silicon processor, both supported natively
• 4 GB of RAM
• 10 GB of available disk space
• Internet connection for the download and for activation
