Microsoft Office 2016 Pro Plus is the full 2016-generation office suite, bought once and installed locally on a Windows PC. It is a practical fit for a secondary workstation, an older computer, or a setup that has to match machines already running the same version.
Applications in the suite
- Word 2016: word processing, styles, automatic tables of contents and review tools.
- Excel 2016: spreadsheets with PivotTables, the newer chart types and forecasting.
- PowerPoint 2016: slide shows, animations and Presenter view.
- Outlook 2016: mail, calendar, contacts and tasks, with Exchange and IMAP accounts.
- Access 2016: building and running relational databases.
- Publisher 2016: desktop publishing for printed material.
- OneNote 2016: structured notes that can be synchronised.
Please note
Microsoft's extended support for Office 2016 has ended. The suite still runs, but it no longer receives security patches, so it suits offline or non-critical use best.
