IXION, developed by Bulwark Studios, is a management and survival game set aboard the Tiqqun, a huge space station that has accidentally become the last refuge of part of humanity. You are its administrator: you must build a circular city spread over six sectors, feed and house the crew, produce energy and materials, all while exploring the solar system in search of resources and a place to settle. The particularity of the game is that the hull itself deteriorates: the structure is a resource to maintain.
What awaits you
- Ring city — six sectors to develop, each with limited space that imposes constant trade-offs.
- Production chains — ice, alloys, electronics, food and energy to balance with no safety margin.
- Crew to manage — morale, housing, workforce and losses that are not easily replaced.
- Space exploration — probes and ships sent towards points of interest, with discoveries and narrative events.
- Hull integrity — each jump through space damages the station and must be prepared for.
- Chapter-based campaign — a scripted progression through several systems, with successive objectives.
