Bellwright is a medieval open-world survival and building game that blends individual crafting with the management of a community. You start alone, a fugitive in a hostile kingdom and must first secure your own subsistence: gathering, hunting, making tools. Quickly, the core mechanic takes over — recruiting villagers, assigning them trades, developing settlements and freeing villages from the control of the ruling power.
What awaits you
- Survival and crafting — resource gathering, a complete production chain, from raw ore to equipment.
- Villager management — recruiting inhabitants, assigning tasks (woodcutter, blacksmith, farmer) and gradual automation.
- Settlement development — constructing buildings, storage, supply and population morale.
- Medieval combat — sword, shield, bow and spear, with parries and stamina, solo or alongside your men.
- Liberating territories — extending your influence by taking villages back from enemy forces.
