AVG Internet Security 2022 – 1 year / 1 device

AVG Internet Security 2022 is AVG's complete security suite: it adds to the free antivirus a firewall, protection for online payments, a shield against ransomware and webcam monitoring. The licence covers 1 device for 1 year. This is a 2022 version: the engine corresponds to this generation, but the antivirus signature updates remain provided throughout the duration of the licence, which guarantees the detection of current threats.

What the protection includes

• Real-time antivirus — continuously scans files that are opened, downloaded or copied and blocks viruses, Trojans and spyware before they run.
• Advanced firewall — filters incoming and outgoing connections and automatically tightens the rules when you join a public Wi-Fi network.
• Anti-ransomware shield — locks your personal folders (documents, photos) so that no unapproved program can encrypt their contents.
• Fake websites and phishing — verifies the authenticity of banking and merchant sites and steers you away from fraudulent pages before you enter your credentials.
• Webcam protection — no application can activate the camera without your explicit authorisation.
• Network Inspector — spots unknown devices connected to your router and weak router passwords.
• File vault — a password-encrypted space for your sensitive documents.
• Data shredder — permanently deletes a file with no possibility of recovery.

Compatibility

Windows 11, 10, 8.1 and 7 (SP1). The AVG add-on modules for macOS and Android are accessible depending on the licence edition. An Internet connection is required for activation and updates.
