Wildfrost is a roguelite card battler in which a frozen world is slowly being swallowed by endless winter. This listing is a Steam key that works worldwide and is redeemed on your own Steam account. The last survivors shelter in the town of Snowdwell, and it falls to you to lead an expedition out into the cold and push the frost back.
What to expect
- Deck building around card companions, elemental items and charms, so that each expedition gives you a different team to work with.
- A choice of leaders drawn from several tribes, each with randomised skills and statistics.
- A battle system based on counters, where timing and order of attack decide who strikes first.
- A home town you can expand between runs, unlocking new cards, events and customisation options.
- Daily runs and challenges for those who want to keep coming back.
Who is it for?
For players who enjoy tactical card games and like to experiment with different combinations. Runs can be short, which makes it easy to pick up for a quick session, yet the counter mechanic gives plenty to think about. Rated PEGI 7, with a friendly, cartoon look suited to a wide audience.
