Werewolves Within brings the atmosphere of a game night with friends into virtual reality. It is sold as a Steam key, which you redeem on your own Steam account before installing the game from your library. The setting is Gallowston, a medieval village that has suffered several attacks and wants to find out which of its inhabitants is a werewolf.
What to expect
- Hidden roles: each round assigns you a secret identity, so you may be a villager one minute and a werewolf the next.
- Social deduction: listen, question, accuse and defend yourself, because the village votes on who must be removed.
- Special abilities: every role has its own powers, which you can use to gather clues, mislead others or protect yourself.
- Quick rounds for a group: a table of five to eight players, where persuasion matters as much as observation and no two games play out in the same way.
Who is it for?
Groups of friends who enjoy bluffing and debating, and players who own a compatible VR headset. Rounds work best with a full table of five to eight players. The game is rated PEGI 7.
