VTOL VR is a near-future combat flight game designed specifically for virtual reality. This listing is a Steam key: redeem it on your own Steam account, then download the game from your library. A VR headset with tracked controllers is required, and no other hardware is needed.
What to expect
- Fully interactive cockpits: reach out to the stick and throttle, flip switches, press buttons and even pull the eject handle.
- Three aircraft to fly: the AV-42C tilt-jet, the F/A-26 fighter and attack jet, and the F-45A stealth multi-role jet.
- Varied missions, from combat sorties to vertical landings, aircraft carrier operations and aerial refuelling.
- A mission and campaign editor and a map editor, with Steam Workshop support to share your creations.
- Near-realistic systems such as heads-up display, targeting pod, radar and countermeasures, plus commandable AI wingmen and a radio system.
Who is it for?
VR owners who enjoy flight simulation and want to operate their aircraft by hand rather than through menus. It rewards patience and situational awareness, and creative players can build and share their own scenarios. Anyone who likes to tinker will find plenty of room for their own ideas in the editors and the Steam Workshop.
