The Sims 4 – Cottage Living settles your Sims into a rural village inspired by the English countryside, where you tend your vegetable garden, raise farm animals and live to the rhythm of the seasons and the neighbours. It is one of the game's most contemplative expansions: less professional ambition, more self-sufficiency, home cooking and village life. It is an add-on content requiring the base game The Sims 4, with a worldwide key with no regional restriction.
What the expansion includes
- Farm animals — cows, llamas, hens and rabbits to feed, care for and milk, each with its own character.
- Vegetable garden and crops — extended gardening, giant vegetables and the village's agricultural contests.
- Henford-on-Bagley — a new rural world with a pub, local market and country lanes.
- Village life — neighbourly relationships, exchanges of produce and community gatherings.
- Cooking and preserves — home recipes made from what you produce on your land.
- Country furniture — building and decorating in a complete cottage style.
