The Golden Eyed Ghosts is a dark fantasy action game with soulslike combat, built along Metroidvania lines and influenced by classic Zelda adventures. This is a Steam key, activated on your own Steam account before you download the game. You play Orion, an exiled wanderer in the crumbling kingdom of Andromeda, tasked with recovering four stolen legendary swords.
What to expect
- A decaying world of forests, ice fields, bogs and ruined cities hiding old secrets.
- Combat choices: fight head-on, look for ways to avoid needless slaughter or draw healing energy from the foes you defeat.
- A flexible kit that can be adapted to each type of opponent.
- Story decisions with real weight, involving thieves, suffering strangers and desperate parents, where trust may be rewarded or betrayed.
- A bleak, mystery-laden tone in which Orion is simply one of many survivors of a fallen empire.
Who is it for?
Mature players (PEGI 16) who like demanding, atmospheric action and exploring a grim world at their own pace, and who enjoy stories where choices count. A good match for those who prefer slow, deliberate exploration to rushing ahead, and who do not mind returning to a tough area once better prepared.
