Scorn is a horror adventure seen through the eyes of its lone protagonist, set in a bleak, dreamlike world of organic and mechanical shapes. This is a Steam key: you redeem it on your own Steam account and download the game from there. It was developed and published by Ebb Software and released in October 2022.
What to expect
- A non-linear journey across interconnected regions, each laid out like a maze of rooms and passages
- Puzzles and encounters tied to every location, with the story told through the surroundings instead of cut-scenes
- Hands-on interaction: objects are lifted and machines are operated using your character’s own body
- A limited inventory and scarce ammunition, so every confrontation becomes a decision
- A tense, oppressive atmosphere with mature themes
Who is it for?
Players who enjoy slow, atmospheric horror and who like to find their own way through puzzles with very little explanation. The pace is deliberate rather than action-packed, and the game carries an adult classification, so it is not meant for a young audience. Those who enjoy quiet exploration, odd architecture and a steady build-up of unease will find plenty to take in at their own speed.
