REANIMAL is an adventure and horror game developed by Tarsier Studios, the Swedish studio behind the first two Little Nightmares. It follows two children, a brother and a sister, who set off to find their missing friends on a dark island populated by misshapen creatures. The game retains the studio's identity: tiny characters, overwhelming environments and a horror that comes through atmosphere rather than explicit violence.
What awaits you
- Adventure and puzzles — progression through the environment, with physical puzzles to solve together and platforming sections.
- Co-operation — the game is designed to be played by two, each child having their own role in overcoming the obstacles.
- Flee rather than fight — the creatures are not confronted: you hide, you run, you divert their attention.
- Striking art direction — immense settings, contrasting lighting and grotesque creatures, in Tarsier's visual tradition.
- Narration without dialogue — the story is understood through the image and the setting, without text or explanatory voice.
