Nintendo Switch Online is the online service for the Nintendo Switch: it is essential for playing most multiplayer titles online and gives access to a catalogue of retro games as well as cloud save data. The Family plan covers up to 8 Nintendo accounts for 12 months, including across different consoles.
What the subscription includes
- Online play — multiplayer games on compatible titles, for all members of the family group.
- Up to 8 accounts — a single subscription for the whole family, each member keeping their own progress.
- Cloud saves — your game data is kept online and can be restored on another console.
- NES and Super NES catalogue — a library of classics accessible during the subscription.
- Smartphone app — voice chat and additional features for compatible games.
- Members-only offers — discounts and specific content offered by Nintendo.
How it works
You receive the activation code by e-mail within 24 hours maximum after payment is confirmed. On the console, open the Nintendo eShop, choose « Enter a code » and enter the 16 characters; the subscription is then linked to the Nintendo account used. From this account, designated as the administrator account, you can then add the other members of the family group. There is no automatic renewal on our part.
