Microsoft Visio 2024 Pro – Key linked to your Microsoft account (Bind Key)

This listing is for Microsoft Visio 2024 Professional, the current one-off-purchase edition of Microsoft's diagramming software, for 1 PC. The key is a Bind Key: when you activate it, it becomes permanently tied to the Microsoft account you sign in with.

What the Professional edition adds

• Database diagrams: model a relational schema, or reverse-engineer an existing database.
• Full UML: class, sequence, use case, activity, component and deployment diagrams.
• BPMN 2.0: business process models that follow the standard, with rule checking.
• Data linking: connect shapes to Excel, SQL Server or SharePoint so the drawing reflects current values.
• Data graphics: icons, gauges and colour coding generated from the linked data.
• Technical drawings: network, electrical, wiring and engineering diagrams, with libraries of standard symbols.

Core Visio tools

The usual Visio toolkit is included as well: organisation charts, flowcharts, floor plans, timelines and smart connectors, plus export to PDF and images and direct insertion into Word and PowerPoint.

How the account link works

The link to the Microsoft account cannot be undone, and the key can never be used with a different account, so choose the account carefully before you activate. In return, the licence is listed under Services and subscriptions in your Microsoft account, and after a reformat or a move to another machine you can reinstall Visio without typing the key again.

Good to know before you order

• Windows 10 or Windows 11 only; there is no macOS version
• 1.6 GHz dual-core processor and 4 GB of RAM
• 4 GB of free disk space
• A Microsoft account and an Internet connection, plus access to your data sources if you want to use data linking
