Microsoft Office 2019 Home and Business for Mac – Lifetime Licence (1 Mac)

Microsoft Office 2019 Home and Business for Mac is the macOS version of Microsoft's office suite, sold as a one-off purchase for 1 Mac. You pay once and keep the licence, with no Microsoft 365 subscription to renew each year.

Applications included

• Word for Mac: word processing with Focus mode, built-in translation, accessibility tools and read aloud.
• Excel for Mac: spreadsheets with the IFS, SWITCH and TEXTJOIN functions, funnel charts and 2D maps.
• PowerPoint for Mac: Morph transition, slide zoom and export of a presentation as 4K video.
• Outlook for Mac: mail and calendar, Focused Inbox, and Exchange, IMAP and POP accounts.

What you will not find

As with every Mac edition of Office, Access and Publisher are not included, since neither was ever released for macOS. Microsoft 365 subscription services, such as extra OneDrive storage, Skype minutes and feature updates, are not part of this edition either.

Changes since Office 2016 for Mac

Office 2019 offers an interface redesigned in the spirit of macOS, handwriting in Word and PowerPoint (handy with a trackpad or an iPad as a second display), clearly better Excel performance on large workbooks, and dark mode in every application.
