This listing is for Microsoft Office 2016 Professional Plus with telephone activation. The suite is the same as the standard version, but the key is validated through Microsoft's automated phone service instead of over the internet. That route helps when online activation fails, on a machine that has been reinstalled several times, or on a network that blocks the web activation service.
Applications included
- Word 2016: long documents, templates and mail merge.
- Excel 2016: calculations, PivotTables and charts.
- PowerPoint 2016: animated presentations and Presenter view.
- Outlook 2016: e-mail, shared calendar and task management.
- Access 2016: local databases and data-entry forms.
- Publisher 2016: flyers, brochures and business cards.
- OneNote 2016: a digital notebook.
Before you order
Microsoft no longer provides security updates for Office 2016. Requirements: Windows 11, 10, 8.1 or 7 SP1, a 1 GHz processor with SSE2 support, 2 GB of RAM, 3 GB of free disk space and a 1280 x 800 display. You will need a telephone to complete the activation.
Activation and delivery
The key is sent by e-mail within 24 hours of payment, together with the activation steps. Telephone activation works like this:
- Install Office 2016 and start the activation wizard.
- Choose the phone option. The wizard displays an installation ID.
- Give that ID to Microsoft's voice service, which reads out a confirmation ID.
- Type the confirmation ID into the wizard.
The whole procedure takes about five minutes and needs no internet connection for the activation itself, only a telephone line. An invoice is included, and our support team answers questions by e-mail if the phone procedure raises any.
