Ghost of Yōtei is the open-world action-adventure game developed by Sucker Punch Productions, the successor to Ghost of Tsushima. The action moves to northern Japan, to the lands of Ezo — present-day Hokkaidō — around Mount Yōtei, roughly three centuries after the previous instalment. You follow Atsu, a fighter who has set out to track down those who destroyed her family, in a tale of revenge that crosses landscapes far harsher and snowier than those of Tsushima.
What awaits you
- Multi-weapon combat — several types of bladed weapons, each more effective against certain opponents, which encourages switching tool mid-fight.
- Open world of Ezo — plains, forests and snowy mountains to travel on horseback, with navigation that favours natural landmarks over interface markers.
- Tale of revenge — a hunt conducted target by target, where the order in which you pursue your adversaries is yours to decide.
- Direct or discreet approach — frontal duels or infiltration of the camps, depending on how you want to play Atsu.
