Gang Beasts, developed by Boneloaf, is a deliberately clumsy multiplayer beat 'em up. You control a floppy character animated by ragdoll physics: every punch, every grab and every fall depends on the simulation rather than on predefined animations, which produces situations as unpredictable as they are comical. The objective is simple: grab your opponents and throw them out of the arena — onto the tracks of an underground railway, off the top of a building, into a Ferris wheel or into a grinder.
What awaits you
- Ragdoll physics — the characters can barely stay upright, which makes every clash chaotic and rarely the same.
- Trapped arenas — settings that move, tear apart or crush and that often claim more victims than the players themselves.
- Multiplayer for up to eight — online or locally on the same screen, in free-for-all or in teams.
- Waves mode — a co-operative confrontation against waves of machine-controlled enemies.
