ESET NOD32 Antivirus 2024 – 1 year / 1 device

ESET NOD32 Antivirus 2024 is ESET's basic protection for 1 device for 1 year. It focuses on the essentials: detecting and blocking viruses, Trojans, ransomware and spyware, without the extra modules of the Internet Security suite (no personal firewall, no parental controls, no anti-spam). It is the sensible choice if you already use the Windows firewall and are looking above all for a reliable, unobtrusive detection engine.

What the protection includes

• Real-time antivirus and anti-spyware — every file opened, downloaded or run is scanned before it can act.
• Advanced heuristic detection — spots malicious behaviour even without a known signature for the threat.
• Anti-ransomware shield — blocks unauthorised attempts to encrypt your documents.
• Scanning of removable media — automatic checking of USB sticks and external drives when plugged in.
• Protection against script-based attacks — filters malicious scripts run from the browser or PowerShell.
• UEFI scanning — checking of the motherboard firmware at start-up.
• Gamer mode — suspends notifications and scheduled scans during full-screen applications.
• Reduced system footprint — deliberately limited memory and processor use, suited to modest configurations.
