ESET NOD32 Antivirus as a 180-day licence for one PC is a short plan, handy for covering a computer for about six months: a workshop machine, a loaned laptop, or a trial of the ESET engine before committing to a longer term. It is the antivirus on its own, with no firewall, anti-spam or parental control, unlike the Internet Security editions. The key is a global key, so it carries no regional restriction.
What is included
- Real-time scanning: every file that is opened, downloaded or copied from a USB stick is checked before it runs.
- ThreatSense heuristics: detects threats by behaviour when they are not yet in the signature databases.
- Web protection and anti-phishing: blocks malicious sites and pages that imitate a legitimate service.
- Exploit blocking: shields browsers and document readers from attacks on their vulnerabilities.
- Removable media scanning: USB sticks and external drives are checked automatically when plugged in.
- Low impact: the engine is built so as not to slow down older machines.
Before you order
The licence is valid for 1 PC and 180 days, counted from activation, so choose a longer plan if you need continuous cover beyond six months. It runs on Windows 11, 10, 8.1 and 7 (SP1), in 32-bit and 64-bit. An Internet connection is required for activation and for definition updates.
Activation and delivery
The key is sent by e-mail within 24 hours of payment. Download ESET NOD32 Antivirus from the publisher's website, install it, choose the option to use a purchased licence key and enter the code. Support is available by e-mail.
