ESET Mobile Security for Android protects 1 smartphone or tablet for 1 year. This licence is reserved for Android devices: it covers neither a Windows PC, nor a Mac, nor an iPhone. It brings ESET's mobile antivirus, anti-theft features, banking app protection and fraudulent-site filtering, with the lightness that characterises the publisher.
What the protection includes
- Antivirus scanning — checks every installed app, including those coming from sources outside the official store.
- Payment and banking app protection — verifies the integrity of financial apps before they open.
- Anti-phishing — blocks fraudulent links received by SMS, e-mail or instant messaging.
- Anti-theft — remote location, locking and wiping from the ESET HOME portal in the event of loss.
- Security audit — flags phone settings that expose your data and excessive app permissions.
- Wi-Fi network scanning — alerts you to open or poorly protected networks.
- Ad-free — the paid version removes the banners present in the free edition.
Compatibility
