Elite: Dangerous is a massively multiplayer space adventure from Frontier Developments, released in February 2015 on Steam. This offer is a Steam key: you receive the code by e-mail and activate it on your own Steam account, with no region restriction. The game is rated PEGI 7. A free Frontier account is also needed to play.
What to expect
- A galaxy modelled on the Milky Way at its true scale, with 400 billion star systems to cross in the year 3301.
- A modest start with a small ship and a few credits, then your own path through exploring, trading, mining, smuggling or fighting.
- Ships that you can upgrade and customise component by component.
- Two ways to share the galaxy: Solo mode, or Open Play with pilots from around the world who may become allies or rivals.
- A galaxy that evolves with the actions of players and keeps growing through updates adding new features and content.
Who is it for?
For players who like open-ended games with plenty of room for their own goals, and who are happy to learn the controls and systems of a ship over time. It suits explorers and traders as much as fighters.
