Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person open-world role-playing game from CD Projekt Red. You play V, a mercenary in Night City, a Californian megalopolis ruled by corporations, gangs and cybernetic implants. After a heist goes wrong, a chip holding the personality of rocker Johnny Silverhand lodges itself in your head, and the main story is about getting rid of it before it erases you.
- Night City as an open world: six very different districts, from the corporate centre to the wastelands of the Badlands, crossed on foot, by car or by motorbike.
- Free character build: spread your points across body, reflexes, intelligence, technical ability and cool to play head-on, in stealth or as a pure hacker.
- Cyberware: implants fitted by ripperdocs, such as mantis blades, a double jump, time slowing and nervous-system overclocking.
- Netrunning: hack cameras, turrets and enemy minds to defuse a fight before it starts.
Good to know before you order
This is a GOG key in the worldwide version, so there is no regional restriction on activation. A GOG account is needed to redeem it. GOG games are DRM-free: once downloaded, the game runs without a mandatory launcher. On PC, plan for 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, a four- to six-core processor, 12 to 16 GB of RAM and a dedicated graphics card. Allow about 70 GB of disk space, preferably on an SSD, which helps the city load smoothly.
