Black Myth: Wukong is an action RPG from Game Science, inspired by the classic Chinese novel Journey to the West. You play the Destined One, a monkey following in the footsteps of Sun Wukong, the Monkey King, across regions inhabited by demons, spirits and creatures from Chinese mythology. It belongs to the family of demanding action RPGs: precise combat built on dodging and positioning, many tough bosses and an art direction that draws on traditional architecture and sculpture.
- Combat with a staff: three distinct stances (smash, pillar and thrust) that completely change your combos.
- Transformations: take the form of defeated creatures to gain new abilities and attacks.
- Spells and techniques: immobilisation, clones and folklore-inspired transformations to combine with melee fighting.
- A large gallery of bosses: the heart of the game, with long, heavily staged encounters.
Good to know before you order
This is a Steam key for Europe (EU). It is meant to be activated from within that region and is not intended for activation elsewhere in the world. The game is demanding. Plan for 64-bit Windows 10, a recent six-core processor, 16 GB of RAM and a mid-range or high-end dedicated graphics card, especially if you want to enable ray tracing. It needs about 130 GB of disk space, ideally on an SSD.
