What to expect
- You play Kril, a hermit crab whose shell has been repossessed. To buy it back, he sets off on a treasure hunt and wears discarded rubbish as replacement shells to survive attacks from much larger foes.
- Demanding, soulslike-inspired combat enriched by Umami Techniques, special moves that Kril learns from the creatures of the sea.
- A large ocean to explore, from kelp forests and coral reefs to sand-castle cities and the dark trenches of the deep.
- More than 50 shells to try on, and a mysterious infection called the Gunk that threatens the entire sea.
- Assist options for a gentler ride, while the default settings remain a real challenge.
