What to expect
- Several biomes made of randomly generated rooms, which you cross while shooting your way past enemies and gathering food for your next run.
- A regeneration twist: when you are knocked down, you come back stronger, and every attempt can unlock new weapons.
- A pond for baby axolotls, the Axolittles. You find them, bring them home, look after them and grow them into specialised fighters.
- Cooking recipes that give permanent stat improvements, a mix of power-ups that range from mighty to downright silly, and boss fights against oversized enemy crabs and sock-shaped snakes.
- Freedom in how you play, from close-range melee attacks to ranged weaponry.
Who is it for?
Players who enjoy fast, replayable runs, a humorous tone and a little collecting and nurturing between fights will find plenty to try. Each death feeds the next attempt, so the game suits short sessions as well as longer ones. It is rated PEGI 12.
