Windows Server 2025 Datacenter – Product key (licence)

Windows Server 2025 Datacenter is the most recent generation of Microsoft's server system, in its most complete edition. It targets high-density hypervisors, storage clusters and hybrid infrastructures. Like any Datacenter edition, it grants an unlimited virtualisation right: all the Windows Server virtual machines hosted on the licensed server are covered, without a cap.

Main features

• Virtualisation without limit — the number of Windows Server VMs is not capped on the host.
• Hotpatching — applying security patches without restarting the server, to reduce interruption windows.
• Next-generation Storage Spaces Direct — increased performance on NVMe and simplified volume provisioning.
• Enhanced security — modernised Active Directory identity protection, SMB over QUIC, systematic encryption.
• Software-defined networking — distributed firewall, load balancing and virtualised gateways.
• Hybrid integration — connection to Azure Arc to manage on-premises and cloud servers from a single console.
